As the sun beginning to rise on the small town in Adams Co. Co-Owners Shaun and Becca are all ready making delicious, soft donuts as well as other treats for the town of Peebles and surrounding communities. April 20th 2018 in the kitchen of owner Bev McFarland a request for pies, cakes, cupcakes, breads, as well as donuts were requested by many. Since there wasn’t a bakery in town, she decided to open a home bakery. The demands for her treats were so overwhelming she needed to expand to a larger kitchen. BeeKay Sweets was born. A small area behind a garage that was used as a office space was turned into a kitchen area to cook and bake. That area was only used for 4 months and once again we needed to expand. February 13th, 2021 Beekay Sweets at 39 Vine Street opened their doors to the public. Fresh made donuts as well as other treats are made in the early morning hours so that everyone can have a hot fresh donut to go with a number of delicious coffees that we offer. May of that same year, Family Time Suppers was created. A full and balanced home cooked meal, just like mom or grandma used to make, is offered Tue to Fri from 4 pm to 6 pm. The business would have never been created or grown without the blessing of not only the community but the blessing of Our Lord Jesus Christ. With the pandemic during the start of our business to the present we have had many ups and downs but God has been by our side to guide us and to see us through it all. So stop in and see us.
